Columbia Central High School Class of 1988
Please tell us what 80's music you would like to hear at the reunion!
PRINCE IS 4-SURE I SAW HIM IN CONCERT WHEN I WAS 14 & NEVER STOPPED LOVING HIM TO THIS DAY!!

I want to make sure that I am not gonna sit there all night and listen to all oldies cuz I hear those songs all the time. I want to request a few new songs  & groups too. In between all the great oldies such as some great  Nelly songs *RIDE WITH ME* *SMACK THAT*.  Rhianna*Disturbia *is great. Jeremy Greene, Hinder & Buckcherry  are some other other great new artists. 3 Doors Down has tons of excellent songs also. Of course we can not forget about the best of all *KID ROCK* himself cause who has too many great songs to even try and start naming.

Ole School Rap, too!
I listened to alot of hip hop along with rock.  Groups like Run DMC, and The Fat Boys  lol...Cyndi Lauper was one of my Bee Bop favorites or was it She Bop  haha    I even went to see Metalica a few times, also  once by MYSELF at Ionia Fairgrounds! Suicidal Tendencies opened for them... that was a trip.  Another was when they played with Kid Rock..even though he's not the 80's we gotta have some KID!!   Love the HAIR bands... Tesla, Whitesnake. Went to a Nugent concert with Tim Hubbell and a few others you know who you are  and Whitesnake opened for him.  I got smoooshed in the front row! Not Fun.  HOPEFULLY EVERYONE WILL HAVE A LITTLE TASTE OF THEIR FAVORITES
Debbie Irvine
Just because I like Prince. . .
Doesn't mean I don't like metal!  HA - saw Pantera over and over and over!!!!  . . . .must be something to do with bands that start with P. . . .
Beth
Rock/heavy metal
Yes Ross said it, 80's was metal and heavy rock.
Carolyn Walker
I am all about the Rock N Roll but.......

Many of the cheezy songs remind me of high school...like all the songs from the movie Dirty Dancing (She's Like the Wind, Hungry Eyes, Time of My Life)...those songs and the movie remind me of Michelle Baldwin.  We were in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE with Patrick Swayze.  "Nobody puts Baby in the corner!"

As for rock....well I did see Metallica in concert at least 5 times, so Ross....I'm proof that Chick Flicks and Rockers can exist together!

Lori Carpenter

You read my mind Lisa!  Gotta have Prince - does anything else really matter???  : )

Beth Staub
Gotta have Prince
We have to hear several Prince songs, especially the Purple Rain album, for Beth Staub. I remember that she introduced me to her obsession in Mrs. Duguid's english class. All of Beth's folders were decorated with Prince lyrics and logos. Can't wait to see you, Beth!!!
